Driving:

Select your favorite route that intersects with I-95 along the east coast of Florida. Follow I-95 to Amelia Island/Fernandina.  Beach/A1A exit (Exit #375). Go east on A1A for 15 miles.  You will cross the main bridge onto the island.

Flying:

Jacksonville International Airport is the closest commercial Airport. The major car rental agencies are located at the airport. Exit the airport east to I-95. Head north on I-95 (toward Savannah) approximately 8 miles and exit to Amelia Island (exit #373).

Private pilots may use the Fernandina Beach Airport, 55J. Lighted, fuel, 4/22 5000’+, Unicom 122.7.Car rentals are available or we can arrange to pick you up.

Ferry:

From the south take A1A or the beaches (Jacksonville), take the Mayport access road (Highway A1A) to the ferry dock. There will be signs to direct you. Follow the signs, A1A will dead end at the ferry dock.
Ferry leave every 30 minutes until 10 pm.
